At Glenroy West Primary School, language learning takes place in a safe, nurturing environment where all students’ learning styles, talents and interests are embraced and celebrated.

The comprehensive input hypothesis and the communicative approach to language teaching is emphasised because the greater amount of time students are exposed to comprehensible target language input, the higher the chance that they can obtain better language proficiency.

Students have many opportunities to communicate in Indonesian through the use of a variety of communicative activities scheduled throughout each unit of work. In addition, aesthetic learning is embraced like singing and dancing to engage students no matter what background or level they are at.
