Glenroy West Primary School proudly embraces the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework, fostering a vibrant, secure, and nurturing learning environment for our students. With ongoing support from the Department of Education, we are dedicated to enhancing the social, emotional, behavioural, and academic outcomes for every child at our school.

To promote these values, we've introduced the Token System. Students receive tokens when they display our core values, and our educators seize this opportunity as a valuable teaching moment by explaining the reason for the reward. Tokens can be exchanged for exciting rewards in our Token Shop, including toys, sporting equipment, games, free time, or even lunch with the Principal. Additionally, all exchanged tokens are entered into a weekly raffle for bonus prizes, announced during our school assembly.
Glenroy West Primary School has also implemented a Positive Behaviour Matrix, which outlines the expected behaviours throughout the school. These behaviours, based on our core values, are explicitly taught to students at every year level during the academic year. Alongside the matrix, we've established a behaviour procedure to help students understand minor and major behaviours and the steps teachers will take to improve behaviour.
