2020 Foundation Information
To begin primary school, your child must turn five years of age (or older) by April 30th of the
year they begin school.
Enrolments are welcome at all levels of school throughout the year.
Information regarding the enrolment of overseas students can be obtained from the
International Studies Unit at DET.
Orientation and Transition Sessions for 2020 Preps
Transition Sessions: 3 rotating groups for Literacy, Numeracy and iPad activities
Step Up Day:
- Thursday 17 October 2019 - 9:30-10.30am
- Thursday 24 October 2019 - 9:30-10:30am
- Thursday 31 October 2019 - 9:30-10:30am
Tuesday 10th December 2019: 9:15 – 2:15pm.This is a great opportunity for your child to familiarise themselves with the school and get to know other students.
Students will be participating in a structured Foundation Program and you child will require hat, drink bottle, fruit snack and lunch on the day on 10/12/19.
During the Orientation mornings on the 15 and 22 August, the parents will accompany their child to the lessons.
During the Transition mornings 17th, 24th, 31st October parents are encouraged to leave
their child for the transition program.
The Parent Information sessions will be conducted by our Assistant Principals. Information
about booklists, uniforms, welfare, student banking etc. will be discussed.Parent Information Evenings

2020 Foundation Information Night – 21 November 2019 at 6:00pm- 7.30pm
From 6:00-6:30pm – the principal and assistant principals will talk about the school and
general information for parents.
6:30-7:30pm - the current Foundation teachers will be presenting information for new families on
what to expect at the start of the school year, parents will have the opportunity to talk to
teachers and ask any questions they may have.
If you are unable to attend this session an information pack will be sent in the mail.
